Handout: Gospel of Jesus Christ According to Luke

Luke wrote his gospel first for pagans, especially for the nascent Greek community and Christians living in the depression. He emphasizes the role of the Holy Spirit, Mary, the childhood of Jesus, God's mercy and the mission that the Messiah receives from the Father.

It is very important that we know what we are going to study. Our study is not a theological teaching nor is it of a scientific nature. We will do a spiritual study of the Word of God.
