Incense of Our Lady of La Salette

In 1846, in the French Alps, Our Lady appeared to two children, Melanie and Maximin, and revealed to them her sufferings at seeing humanity far from God.
With this incense, we seek to translate the richness and depth of the mystery of this apparition, admirably summarized in the famous “Saletina Cross”, the cross flanked by pliers and a hammer.
The myrrh symbolizes the suffering of the Mother of God when, in the apparition, she appeared weeping, with her hands on her face, chained and with her arms crossed, to show her pain for the hardened sinners, represented by the hammer, who continually crucify her divine son.

Nard, known as the balm of Divine Mercy, expresses Mary's desire to help her children, to seek out generous people in humanity who can repair the harm caused by sin, represented by the pliers that remove a nail from the crucified Jesus after each penance.
