It was based on the experiences and learning of women who participate in the group of mothers who pray for their children at the Parish of São Camilo de Lélis (ES).
As they became more involved with the group and surrendered themselves more confidently to God’s action, they understood that there is no prayer more powerful than that of a mother interceding for her child. They ended up realizing that this understanding was capable of transforming their lives and the lives of their families.
In this work, the mothers who participate in the group share their motivations, the difficulties they face and the blessings they have received from the Lord. The book presents a methodology with tips that can help women from other regions to get involved in the spiritual battle of protecting their children, which they themselves fight every day.
Furthermore, Mothers Who Pray for Their Children sheds new light on the most sublime and complex feminine experiences: being a mother, a vocation that makes women capable of loving without limits and without conditions, of giving themselves freely and of understanding the sufferings of Mary at the foot of the cross of Jesus.
